Covid-19 Disinfection Services

Commercial Disinfection for Covid-19

Rapid Dry goes above and beyond to keep or personnel and your facility as clean as possible: Full face respirators, chemical suits, gloves and booties are standard for us. Once we leave your facility, all PPE is diinfected to ensure no further transmission.

We take the health and welfare of our team very seriously…and we will do the same for you and your team!

What is Covid-19 and Other Viruses?

Covid-19 is a new novel coronavirus that is not as well-known as various other viruses (such as SARS, MERS and influenza). Given this, the medical community is still working on ways to limit exposure, find a working vaccine and understand how to limit how it impacts humans.

Given these things, ensuring we all conduct ourselves in a manner which is in line with CDC recommendations is of critical importance:

  • Clean your hands often
  • Avoid close contact (stay six feet away from others: known as ‘social distancing’)
  • Do not touch your face
  • Do not shake hands
  • Stay at home if you’re sick
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Wear a facemask if you are sick
  • Disinfect often

While all of these are critical and mostly simple, the last may pose some challenges in a commercial setting. Deploying the best methodologies to disinfect large facilities is something that we have done for years and we are well prepared to disinfect against not only Covid-19 but all biologicals.

What Separates Rapid Dry from Other Companies?

  • Written disinfection protocol that goes beyond CDC guidelines
  • Industrial hygienist present at all disinfections to ensure safety and that protocol is followed
  • Use multiple products and industrial grade equipment to ensure complete coverage
  • We have, combined, decades of experience in disinfecting facilities
  • Being an emergency response company, we are ready any time you are (24 hours a day)

What Surfaces Must Be Disinfected?

Since Covid-19 and other coronaviruses can live for three days on any solid surface, everything within a facility needs to be disinfected. We do this with equipment designed to spray an EPA approved disinfectant on all walls, floors, doors, door handles, fixtures, etc. In addition, we utilize a Hydroxyl generator in smaller areas as this is another effective method to kill viruses. For electronic equipment, we manually apply the disinfectant so that it can stay on all surfaces more the required ten minutes.

What Precautions Does Rapid Dry Take?

As mentioned elsewhere, we have an industrial hygienist who will participate with each job. This individual will conduct a safety ‘tailgate’ talk prior to all jobs, ensure that the jobs are being conducted in compliance with the written protocol and be able to respond should any concerns arise. In addition, our team is donned in full-face respirators, chemical resistant coveralls, gloves and shoe covers.

How Much Does It Cost?

Disinfecting is done on a time and materials basis as commercial settings can be 3,000 square feet to 3 million square feet. Should you be interested in a quote, please contact us at 585-496-9095.

We are all in this together and Rapid Dry will strive to be your go-to provider for all of our services!
